Johnnie Heery
Photo taken in the 1950s

Johnnie served in RAF in World War Two. The alternative was probably casual labouring or the dole.

When the War was over he had to go to England to find a job.

He settled in Birmingham, married, had 2 children Jennifer and Paul.

He worked in the motor car industry until he retired. He was promoted to senior foreman.
